We are seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer to join our dynamic team at TELUS Health, specifically to work with the Payors and Providers Business Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing marketing automation solutions and email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will work closely with our marketing, operations, IT, privacy and business teams to design, develop, test, and deploy marketing automation solutions to ensure the successful execution of marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (i.e.: ExactTarget)
Collaborate with marketing, operations, IT, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Ensure that automations and data processing done within the platform complies with various security, privacy and regulatory requirements, and act as a prime with the relevant internal governance teams
Develop and maintain custom email templates, landing pages, and forms using HTML, CSS, and AMPscript
Create and manage data extensions, segmentation, and audience targeting strategies
Write SQL queries within SFMC to extract, segment, and manipulate data for targeting in campaigns and facilitate reporting
Implement and optimize automation workflows, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio
Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other systems and platforms, such as Salesforce CRM, using APIs and connectors. Maintain those integrations
Detect, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Marketing Cloud solutions, including data and automation errors, especially on forms processing and lead capture activities
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in email marketing, marketing automation and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Qualifications Desired experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field or Marketing Cloud Developer and Admin certifications
Proven experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or similar role
Strong proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio and Content Builder
Experience with SQL and data management within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and its integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A willingness to learn and tackle new challenges in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
Great-to-haves:
Experience with GCP and/or AWS ecosystems.
Experience with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics and/or Domo)
Experience designing and documenting APIs (Node.js, Express, OpenAPI Spec)
Understanding of written and/or spoken French

Salary Range: $98,000 - $148,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
