As a Talent Strategy and Culture team member, you will play a key role in our mission to shape the future of work at TELUS by developing innovative people practices that unlock the power of our culture and the potential of our team to create a competitive advantage in the marketplace. The Senior Strategy Manager, reporting to the Director of Talent Strategy and Culture, enables and champions the design, ideation and implementation of people programs and initiatives to make this mission a reality.

You will plan, develop, and deliver enterprise-wide or cross-functional projects and cultural transformation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to identify opportunities, present recommendations, and help implement our strategic plans, working closely with P&C stakeholders and leaders across the organization to ensure success.
Here’s how:
Strategic planning | Develop strategic people initiatives and communicate them at executive levels
Analytical | Comfortable leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data to identify actionable insights to support informed decision-making and recommendations
Design | Able to develop team member experience initiatives from inception leveraging various methodologies, including facilitating focus groups and design thinking principles
Influence and engage | Collaborate and partner with our P&C partner teams and business stakeholders to determine the best solutions to support cultural transformation
Action | Manage the execution of our creative solutions
Knowledge Expert | Leverage leading research on industry and team member trends to provide expert advice on emerging opportunities and challenges
Qualifications What you bring
You are an energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment and is motivated by a desire to create an exceptional team member experience
You’re innately curious, enjoy researching and discovering the WHY behind people and cultural challenges and developing thoughtful recommendations
You’re a natural problem solver, comfortable with ambiguity and take a systematic approach and framework to tackle complex problems
You’re a master communicator, equally adept at facilitating focus groups and telling a compelling story through executive-level presentation materials
You are an effective collaborator with a strong EQ, who values diversity of thought and fosters positive relationships with team members at all levels and across the organization
You love organization and thrive on coordinating and connecting the dots across multiple projects and programs and have a proven track record for setting and delivering results
You have proven analytical abilities: data analysis, forecasting and business modelling, you can identify meaning from the data and can tell a compelling story based on those insights
You are proficient in Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Drive, etc.)
5-7 years of work experience in developing strategic plans, securing executive support, and driving the execution of the recommended course of action
Great-to-haves:
Experience with cultural transformation and design thinking
Change management certification would be an asset

Salary Range: $94,000-$142,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:
