As part of the AI Platform, within Data as a Service (DaaS), our passion is to advance AI capabilities and deliver AI-powered solutions to optimize processes, maximize productivity and increase value for our customers and colleagues. We are looking for a Sr. IT Manager with high technical and delivery acumen to work in this dynamic environment. The perfect candidate will have previous Data and AI experience, delivering enterprise data and AI solutions within a financial services context. You will work with top talent across TD from infrastructure engineering to AI scientists, collaborating through agile delivery. This role oversees a diverse team of AI specialists, utilizing resources from various functional or specialized technology areas to ensure end-to-end delivery, including design, development, testing, implementation, security, governance, and quality assurance of AI solutions or services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
CUSTOMER
Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of AI technology solutions or services for key business lines with a clear focus on strategic planning, schedule management, scope, change/issues management, client communication, and overall resourcing and financial costs.
Oversee AI project delivery for the applications within their scope, commissioning projects to be executed by assigned Project Managers.
Act as an integrator of AI solutions; provide a flexible approach by offering and negotiating options with clients that ensure the appropriate balance between service levels, cost, and risk.
Communicate business vision/goals and portfolio priorities to team members.
Develop impact assessments related to changes and manage the integrated AI portfolio delivery schedule.
Monitor and manage Capacity Forecasting process compliance among AI Technology Project Managers.
Work closely with IT leadership to ensure ongoing focus on reusability, scalability, and enterprise-wide AI solutions.
Oversee and support the demand management process from intake through final approval and initiation of delivery execution.
SHAREHOLDER
Measure and monitor progress for all ongoing AI projects within the portfolio to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed expectations.
Assess work plans and schedule impacts across the AI portfolio.
Comply with well-defined enterprise technology delivery practices and standards.
Track major project deliverables; communicate updates; support initiatives intended at reducing time-to-market and containing costs.
Ensure operational, reputational, and intellectual risks are understood.
Maintain proficient knowledge of the competition, customer/industry trends, and AI technology innovation.
Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure commitments are met.
Ensure a full understanding of business requirements and prioritize delivery of new and existing AI projects.

Serve in an integrator role overseeing various AI technology functions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of relevant experience, with a focus on AI technology and project delivery.
Proven working experience and understanding of Azure Cloud Services.
Background in Data Science, Machine Learning, Predictive and Generative AI.
MLOps Practices: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
Knowledge of data engineering and ETL processes.
Certification in cloud platforms.
Prior experience in a similar role within the AI or tech industry.
