The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its non-profit organization with a focus on public safety and injury prevention. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organization's leadership and management, ensuring the delivery of public education and relations strategies, and the development and oversight of training programs and certification processes. This role involves working closely with the Board of Directors to develop and implement a strategic plan, as well as managing the day-to-day operations, HR policies, and fundraising efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in a related field, an MBA is preferred, and a strong background in leadership, management, and knowledge of non-profit and volunteer-based organizational principles.
As the Executive Director, you will be expected to have a passion for the organization's mission, a strategic mindset, and excellent communication skills, including media relations. The role also requires a strong understanding of human resources and financial principles, the ability to establish a positive work environment, and the capacity to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders. Key responsibilities include risk management, budgeting, and securing funding through the development of fundraising plans and proposals.
