Job Requirements License (RN/CNA) BLS Unit Specific Information General Information about units: 24 Beds, 42 Staff Members, Types of staff differ between day and night shifts. Patient Ratios: 1:4 or 1:5. Type of Equipment: Standard unit equipment. EMR System: Cerner. Typical Procedures: Occasional pelvic exams, Echo, thoracentesis. Best Personality Fit: Team players, willing to learn. Floating Area(s): Other med-surg units- team rarely floats. Dress Code: RNs- navy, white or combo of both colors, CNAs- Galaxy Blue. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Basic hospital policies and guidelines. Additional Details Unit Information: K9A- Oncology/Women’s Surgical Number of Beds -24 Number of Staff – 42 Day Shift - 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 HUC Night Shift - 1 CNC, 4-6 RNs, 2 CNAs Patient Ratios – 1:4 or 1:5 Type of equipment – standard unit equipment EMR - Cerner Skill Set Most recruited for must have candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
