Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join an esteemed mid-size legal practice. As an Insurance Defense Attorney you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging cases, representing clients in legal proceedings. If you are results-driven with strong litigation skills and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients we encourage you to apply.


LOCATION : Oklahoma City OR Tulsa (Hybrid)


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Handle a diverse caseload of Commercial Insurance Defense matters within various legal verticals
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and experts to build a strong defense case.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.


REQUIREMENTS :

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Oklahoma state bar association.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
