This leading Am Law 20 firm are seeking a White Collar Associate to join the Litigation team in their New York office - D.C. applicants are also encouraged to apply.

Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of prior associate-level experience in WC investigations, general litigation, handling hearings, depositions, as well as drafting motions.

In this position you will:

• Provide thorough factual and legal research and analysis in pleadings, memoranda, and other written documents
• Draft pleadings and other case documents
• Manage matters from commencement to final resolution
• Competently and professionally communicate with clients and supervising attorneys

The Ideal Candidate will:

• Have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Have the ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines
• Possess strong organization and matter management skills
• Ability to work professionally and effectively with Clients, Partners, Associates and Support Staff
• Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team
• Familiarity with and ability to prepare basic and complex litigation documents
• Familiarity with federal and state court procedural rules and practices
• Clear and effective drafting skills
