A Top 75 AM Law Firm is seeking a Mid- Level/ Senior Labor & Employment Class Action Associate to join their dynamic L&E group to support its California practice.
This role is open to the firms San Francisco, LA, Silicon Valley or San Diego office. Hybrid remote schedule available.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of substantive experience in employment litigation and a desire for trial work
- Experience in defending wage and hour claims, including wage and hour class action lawsuits
- Meaningful experience in transactional employment work, including the drafting of employment and severance agreements, drafting EEOC position statements, drafting DFEH responses, and conducting witness interviews and depositions.
- Juris Doctor- qualified candidates must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in California
The ideal candidate will have:
- Having a background in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance, drafting workplace policies, and assisting clients with employment training programs is a plus.
- Experience in traditional management labor relations is also advantageous
The annual salary range for this position is $245 000- $295 000
