Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Estate Planning Attorney at Pierro, Connor & Strauss, LLC in Albany, NY. The Estate Planning Attorney will be responsible for managing the administration of estates, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of various trusts, including Revocable Living Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Medicaid Asset Protection Trusts, etc. as well as basic Will planning. Responsibilities

· Analyze complex legal issues related to estate planning and provide strategic recommendations.

· Review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and other estate planning instruments.

· Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and present documents for review and execution.

· Address client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws governing estate planning.

· Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to streamline workflow and ensure efficient case management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in estate planning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and a license to practice law in New York State
