Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Human Resources to lead and manage the HR function within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance. The Director will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment, supporting organizational goals, and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. The ideal candidate must be reliable, dedicated, organized, professional, amiable, and have an out-going, ready to help personality. The Director of Human Resources will be part of the team to meet those goals.
This role would be full time and need to be located in Gunnison, UT or Provo, UT

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all Human Resource functions and supervise all employees in the Human Resources Department.
- Maintain personnel policies and procedures.
- Develop and execute all recruitment and orientation programs.
- Advise and train supervisors and administration on employment responsibilities.
- Maintain salary schedules/surveys: Equity in salaries as well as hourly/salary classifications.
- Conduct employee onboarding program.
- Administer employment process: recruitment, applicant records, hiring, I-9 verifications, personnel files, etc.
- Ensure employee personnel issues are handled in compliance with company policy.
- Perform exit interviews and terminations.
- Mediate employee grievances and involuntary terminations.
- Develop and facilitate annual performance reviews and raises.
- Administer benefits and contract with providers.
- Lead employee development activities.
- Counsel company leaders and supervisors regarding benefits and hiring practices.
- Complete loan verifications for employment; Office of Recovery Services requests; and other salary surveys, etc.
- Maintain the budget for the Human Resources office.
- Other duties as assigned
