Looking for a full time, Technical Director- Sealants, Coatings, Adhesives for a global manufacturing organization in the greater Chicago area.

• BS/MS degree in chemistry, science, polymer, chemical engineering
• 10 years or more coating, adhesive, sealant formulation experience for candidates with BS degree
• 6 years or more coating, adhesive, sealant formulation experience for candidates with MS degree
• Preference on candidates that have experience with silicone coating, or sealants
• Proven success in a managerial role and strong decision-making ability
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
• Ability to motivate and lead employees, and hold them accountable
• Strong chemistry knowledge
• High attention to detail to prepare and review technical documents.
• Superior planning, organizational, computer, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and productively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a strong sense of accountability, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound and accurate judgment in making timely decisions.
• Ability to assist with other duties and manage multiple studies in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to observe safety and security procedures and relevant regulations and laws.
