Job SummaryThe Quality Technician II provides first-line support for internal and external quality and regulatory inquiries, acting as a liaison between customers and other departments. This role involves managing customer complaints, supporting Quality and Regulatory Services (QRS) processes, and working on continuous improvement projects. Remote or hybrid work arrangements may be available for exceptional candidates; relocation is not provided.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the initial point of contact for quality and regulatory inquiries, triaging customer complaints and managing the QRS email queue.Escalate urgent quality and regulatory issues to the appropriate department in line with QRS guidelines.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Regulatory, Sales, and Customer Service, to ensure customer satisfaction.Support continuous improvement projects with teams from Scientific Support, Marketing, Business Operations, and more.Prioritize daily tasks and maintain professional communication with internal teams and external customers.Required QualificationsMinimum of 2-4 years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in manufacturing, quality, or regulatory areas within medical device or clinical industries.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.Strong oral and written communication skills with a courteous and professional demeanor.Demonstrated ability to handle time-sensitive customer requests and prioritize or escalate as needed.Preferred QualificationsExperience designing and maintaining reports and metrics.Familiarity with ETQ, SharePoint, Salesforce, and PeopleSoft systems.Multi-lingual capabilities are highly desirable.A passion for innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.Ability to work effectively under pressure, maintaining a professional and positive attitude.Strong judgment and business acumen.Proven customer service skills with a track record of teamwork and effective communication.Capacity to handle proprietary information with discretion and professionalism.
