Make an impact with our Enterprise Risk – Technology Risk team as a Manager. This diverse team of professionals utilizes leading-edge industry knowledge to assist clients in mitigating risk. As a trusted advisor, you’ll identify and address enterprise issues, evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT controls and optimize system design to mitigate clients’ risk of system interruption.

Responsibilities
Lead planning and delivery of enterprise risk and management consulting engagements such as risk assessments, internal audits, IT/systems audits, performance and controls improvement, developing risk management policies, frameworks and strategies across a range of industries.
Oversee and support practice and business management, including leading and overseeing:
Multiple engagement teams in various practice areas.
Resource forecasting/scheduling.
Quality management.
Efficient engagement delivery.
Timely billing and effective work in progress management.
Developing/refining methodologies and approaches for team members to implement across various practice areas.
Determine engagement scope, programs, criteria and procedures.
Lead client interactions, including information gathering interviews, providing status updates, presenting engagement results, etc.
Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research and analysis, reports, technical work, management presentations, proposals and other high-quality deliverables.
Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and that relationships grow and develop.
Maintain high quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues or key risks relevant to the client’s business.
Support sales processes, including but not limited to proposal writing, attending and actively participating in sales meetings, supporting the development of work plan effort estimates and quotes, etc.
Network in the local business community, consider business development opportunities and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needs.
Provide supervision and support to junior team members during the delivery of engagements.
Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews.
Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary.
Skills and Experience
Completion of a University Degree or equivalent required.
Completion of at least one of the following designations required: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, Certified Internal Audit (CIA) designation, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and/or Professional Engineer.
8+ years of relevant work experience, most of which is in risk management, internal audit, or accounting/finance required.
Some demonstrated experience leading/managing teams in professional services environment is required.
Must hold valid security clearance for the Canadian federal government or be able to obtain.
Experience working with Canadian federal government organizations considered an asset.
Bilingual in French and English considered an asset.
Experience contributing to thought leadership activities (publishing work, presenting, etc.) would be considered an asset.
Additional relevant designations considered an asset.
Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills.
Strong communication ability, effective problem-solving abilities, and time management skills is a must.
