Job Summary:
This Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and optimizing inventory management processes within an organization. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating stock levels, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proficient in inventory management systems. This role will also involve cross-training in shipping and receiving operations to ensure a seamless flow of inventory within the warehouse. The successful candidate will collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to optimize inventory movement and support overall warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, logistics, operations management, or supply chain management.
- 1-3 years of warehouse experience
- 1-3 years Customer service experience
- NetSuite or any ERP System knowledge would be a plus
- Jira Experience would be a plus
- Previous experience in inventory management or related field.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Analyze inventory levels to identify discrepancies, shortages, or overstocks.
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports to inform decision-making.
- Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures and policies.
- Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Collaborate with warehouse and shipping teams to optimize inventory flow.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory management efficiency and reduce costs.
- Utilize inventory management software to track and analyze data.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
