SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Our client, located in the Willowbrook area, is a privately held, fast-growing manufacturer of battery testers and battery management solutions for over 38 years. Their global presence includes facilities in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. They are seeking a SERVICE TECHNICIAN.
The position requires a higher skilled technician where machine mechanics/operators, troubleshooting like Quality Assurance skills will be highly desired.

6:00am - 2:30pm (M-F)

OVERVIEW:
The Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and calibrating products returned from customers due to warranty claims and/or time and material repairs.
The technician must have the ability to disassemble the units, identify the problem, replace defective parts, and document the outcome on an RMA form.
The technician must be able to perform these functions, including repackaging the product for return.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The technician must have the ability to disassemble Charger/Tester units, identify potential problems, and replace defective parts.
• Document the outcome on an RMA form.
• The technician must be able to re-packaging the product for return.
• Perform other duties as required and assigned by leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 1 -3 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment on electronics products is required
• Associates degree in electronics is preferred
• Prior troubleshooting/repair center experience is preferred
• Must possess strong organizational skills
