Akkodis is seeking a General Maintenance Tech for a Contract To Hire job with a client in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate's responsibilities include maintaining equipment, performing minor repairs, ensuring safety compliance, and communicating effectively with customers and management.
Rate Range: $17/hour to $21/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
General Maintenance Tech job responsibilities include:
- Performing general building repairs such as painting, carpentry, fixing plumbing issues, and replacing lighting components.
- Maintaining equipment and inventory, ensuring all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, are functioning properly.
- Conducting daily checks on equipment to ensure operational efficiency and making necessary repairs.
- Handling snow removal during winter months and maintaining parking lot and building lighting systems.
- Communicating with customers and management to ensure work requests are understood and completed in a timely manner.
- Managing paperwork related to maintenance tasks and ensuring safety standards are met.
Desired Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED.
- 4-6 years of related experience in general maintenance.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour
