Be involved in projects with our PM/CM Team and be part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solve their challenges.nnYour ImpactnnRoles and ResponsibilitiesnnProvide daily site inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications and codes, and maintain up-to-date project records and test reports.nnReview construction quantities and verify for the installed quantity.nnPerform Quality Assurance on the installed materials.nnAct as the Owner’s agent with regards to the construction process.nnReview progression of work to monitor and generally reconcile against construction schedule.nnRead/Understand contractor submittals, request for information (RFI), change order requests, and as-built drawings and comments.nnCommunicate conditions and field conflicts/changes to Resident Inspector.nnInterface with client and the contractor, while working with, and taking direction from the Resident Inspector.nnKeep detailed records of contractor’s performance and progress.nnOversee/Track the technical submittal, shop drawing review and RFI process, with support of design lead.nnPrepare daily construction log for all activities and project progress using the client’s software application/tool.nnAssist the Resident Inspector with compiling data, for monthly reports.nnDevelop construction punch listnnExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct, and related policies and procedures.nnPerform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.nnWho You ArennMinimum Requirements:nnHigh-School Diplomann5 years of experience in field inspection, in civil, mechanical, disciplines work on water/wastewater projects (earthwork, roads, utilities, infrastructure, paving, pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants.nnExperience in storm water management and environmental projects.nnHighly familiar with construction inspection principles, field inspection practices, processes, methods and techniques.nnHighly familiar with relevant construction codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.nnAbility to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.nnSolid knowledge in MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.nnSolid knowledge of Oracle Contract Management (CM-14)/Oracle Unifier or e-Builder.nnProven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.nnValid driver’s licensennWSP Benefits:nnWSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
