Job Overview:nnWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related issues in our manufacturing facility. This role plays a critical part in minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring the overall efficiency and safety of the facility.nnKey Responsibilities:nnPreventative Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and servicing of machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.nnTroubleshooting & Repairs: Quickly diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures. Effectively perform repairs to minimize production disruptions.nnEquipment Installation: Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery, ensuring that all components are properly aligned and functioning according to specifications.nnSafety & Compliance: Adhere to safety procedures and regulations, ensuring all repairs and maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety standards. Maintain a safe and organized work environment.nnDocumentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inspections, repairs, and parts inventory. Update maintenance logs as necessary.nnCollaboration: Work closely with production and operations teams to understand maintenance needs, prioritize tasks, and schedule downtime for repairs without affecting production schedules.nnParts & Inventory Management: Manage inventory of maintenance parts and materials. Order replacement parts and supplies as needed, ensuring adequate stock is maintained.nnFacility Maintenance: Perform routine repairs and maintenance on the facility infrastructure, such as lighting, HVAC systems, and plumbing, to ensure a functional and safe working environment.nnContinuous Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to maintenance practices and equipment performance, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.nnEmergency Response: Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergencies in a timely manner to minimize production downtime and impact on operations.nnQualifications:nnExperience: 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar maintenance role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.nnTechnical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Experience with troubleshooting, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electronics.nnProblem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues quickly and effectively.nnSafety Knowledge: Familiarity with safety standards, protocols, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, etc.) in a manufacturing setting.nnCommunication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills to document maintenance activities and communicate with team members.nnPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to (X) pounds), work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and operate maintenance equipment.nnPay Details: $22.00 to $28.00 per hournnBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
