Job Description:

This newly created position is designed to support a busy and expanding HR compliance team. As an HR Compliance Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in background check processes, onboarding activities, and compliance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with a third-party vendor and HR teams to manage background check adjudication.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to communicate candidate status updates effectively.
• Provide guidance on employment laws and ensure all onboarding processes adhere to regulations.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of background checks and associated reports.
• Support additional compliance-related activities like I-9 management, unemployment claims, and severance agreement processing.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 1 year in HR
• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Technical Skills: Basic Excel and experience with ATS/HRIS systems are a plus.
