A top-tier law firm is seeking an experienced associate to join its Labor & Employment Department in the San Francisco, CA office. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile employment matters within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defend clients in class and PAGA litigation, including drafting and responding to pleadings and discovery.
- Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and provide employment counseling on federal and state laws.
- Handle a variety of labor and employment matters, with a focus on class and representative actions.
- Trial experience is a plus but not required.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) and admission to practice in California.
- 5-7 years of relevant labor and employment law experience.
- Strong research and writing skills, with a solid academic record.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Office-based role with use of standard office equipment.
- Sedentary work, with occasional walking and standing.
- Close visual acuity required for tasks such as reading, data analysis, and computer work.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $225,000 - $265,000 annually (dependent on experience and qualifications).
