A top-tier law firm is seeking an experienced associate to join its Labor & Employment Department in the San Francisco, CA office. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile employment matters within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defend clients in class and PAGA litigation, including drafting and responding to pleadings and discovery.
• Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and provide employment counseling on federal and state laws.
• Handle a variety of labor and employment matters, with a focus on class and representative actions.
• Trial experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) and admission to practice in California.
• 5-7 years of relevant labor and employment law experience.
• Strong research and writing skills, with a solid academic record.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Office-based role with use of standard office equipment.
• Sedentary work, with occasional walking and standing.
• Close visual acuity required for tasks such as reading, data analysis, and computer work.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $225,000 - $265,000 annually (dependent on experience and qualifications).
