Location : Fully Onsite in Mission Viejo, CA
Job Type : Temp-to-Hire (Transition to permanent after 4 months)
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized HR Assistant to join our dynamic team in the medical aesthetics industry. In this role, you will be crucial in supporting our Human Resources department with a variety of HR functions, from recruitment to employee relations and HR administration. Your work will help ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive employee experience for our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support : Assist with job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Employee Onboarding : Help manage the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documentation, conducting orientations, and ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
- Employee Records : Maintain and update employee files and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
- Benefits Administration : Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries, and maintain accurate records related to benefits programs.
- Timekeeping & Attendance : Monitor and track employee attendance, leave requests, and assist with time-off approvals.
- HR Compliance : Help ensure the company remains in compliance with labor laws and HR best practices by assisting with audits and updating policies.
- Employee Relations : Provide support in resolving employee concerns and help foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- General HR Administration : Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and HR-related communications. Handle general administrative tasks such as maintaining office supplies, coordinating meetings, and managing HR calendars.
- Employee Training : Assist in the coordination of training sessions and development programs for staff.
Qualifications:
- Education : Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR assistant or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare, wellness, or aesthetic environment.
- Skills :
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
