Job Overview:nnAs a Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper at Del Webb Nocatee, you’ll be responsible for cleaning dishes in a food service environment to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans and glasses. Their duties include prioritizing loads of different types of crockery and kitchenware, hand-washing dishes, loading the dishwasher and placing dishes to dry.nnYour Responsibilities:nnOperate industrial dishwasher.nWash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary.nEmpty and clean all trash receptaclesnRotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources.nClean dish storage.nFollow sanitation policies at all times.nProvide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak timesnPerform opening, closing and side work assigned.nClean up spills or broken glassware immediately.nReport any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party.nPerform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.nNotify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.nnSkills & Qualifications:nnCritical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities are necessary.nAbility to maintain positivity and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment.nPossess strong interpersonal skills and is able to interact and communicate successfully to the residents and team.?nMust be able to clearly communicate with various types of communications.nnPhysical Requirements:nnAbility to work in various positions, including, but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, navigating the property/building quickly and easily as required to meet the job functionnAbility to lift 50 lbs following appropriate safety procedures.nWork in an upright standing position for long periods of time;nClimb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 3ft);nHandle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment;nReach with hands and arms;nRepeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers;nnSchedule: Wednesday - Sunday, Hours VarynnWhat We Offer:nnAs a full-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, vision.
