Elwyn Adult Behavioral Health Services is seeking a
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our residential treatment facility in Dover, DE.
$31,200 per year Eligible for $2000 sign-on bonus
Comprehensive benefits Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2 pm
As a CNA, you will serve as a member of the Integrated Team providing hands on assistance with grooming, showering, dressing and other personal care activities as necessary and conduct medical monitoring activities consistent with qualifications and under the direction of the RN.
- Understand the signs and symptoms of mental illnesses and intervene therapeutically in a recovery-based environment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of prescribed medications, an ability to monitor medications, and follow Elwyn state-specific medication guidelines.
- Maintain client records in accordance with agency policy and procedures.
- Ensure that clients live in a safe and clean environment.
- Provides psycho-educational services to clients and their families, as required.
Qualifications - High School diploma or GED.
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification .
- One year experience providing direct-care service to mentally ill individuals highly preferred.
- Bilingual desired.
- CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license .
