Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.nnThe Engineered Items Product Commodity Team has a great opportunity for an experienced Procurement Professional/Subcontract Manager in a highly collaborative role where you will have the opportunity to lead in the sourcing and acquisition of materials and services, manage supplier performance and the entire purchase order life cycle (requirements including supplier development, requirement solicitations, Purchase Order award, post-award management, and closeout activities) for DoD, FMS, and DCS customers within the procurement team.nnWhat You Will Do:nnPreparation and issuance of RFP’snnPlace purchase orders of medium complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various complex subcontract (Cost Type, Incentive Type, Firm Fixed, etc.).nnSupport negotiation strategies and support formal negotiations (Price, Delivery, scope, Terms & Conditions).nnPerform price and cost analysis techniques in support of proposals.nnNurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors.nnWork closely with the Program and other functional groups (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, etc.) to achieve objectives.nnPost Award Purchase order maintenance to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information.nnQualifications You Must Have:nnTypically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 year’s experiencennRelevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar role.nnU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.nnQualifications We Prefer:nnSAP/PRISM based environment experiencennExperience with technical requirements of procured hardware and service – including Statement of Work (SOW) reviewnnKnowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)nnExperience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.)nnWhat We Offer:nnOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
