Responsibilities:
- Provide thorough and competent legal advice and analysis on complex legal matters relating to contracts, corporate transactions, real estate law, and employment law.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and other legal documents.
- Conduct research and advocate on behalf of clients in real estate transactions, zoning matters, and land usage issues.
- Manage and handle legal issues related to land acquisition, sale, lease, and other real estate matters in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Handle employment law matters, including advising on employment contracts, employee benefits, wage and hours laws, workplace safety, discrimination, and termination procedures.
- Draft legal opinions, memos, and legislation or policy proposals.
- Negotiate settlements in legal disputes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school and 3+ years of experience as a practicing attorney
- Admitted to the Minnesota Bar Association and in good standing.
- Proven experience as a practicing attorney in contractual, real estate, and employment law matters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
