Job title: Trade Compliance Classification Expert IIInnContract on W2, for a duration of 12+ monthsnnOnsite from LOC WD 95119nnPay budget - $65 - $75/hr on W2nnWORK EXPERIENCEnn6+ years of experience in global electronics manufacturing organization, in-depth knowledge of Harmonized Tariff System (HTS), Export Control Classification Number (ECCN), Country of Origin (CoO) Management, Trade compliance screenings.nnSkills & AbilitiesnnSelf-starter – minimal supervision required Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsnnHigh degree of integrity Excellent organizational skills with attention to detailnnMust be able to work with R&D, procurement, Product Management & Logistics groupnnExcellent oral and written communication skills.nnCross-cultural communication skill desirednnAbility to travel as needednnESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:nnThe client is seeking a Trade Compliance professional who will be an integral member of the Global Logistics/Global Trade Operations team responsible for performing the following trade compliance activities.nnDuties & ResponsibilitiesnnResponsible for classifying Client's products, components and technology with:nnExport Control Classification Numbers (ECCN's) according to the Bureau of Industry and Security's, Commerce Control List (CCL) and other EU and AP country laws and regulations.nnHarmonized Tariff Schedules (HTS) in accordance to the importing and exporting country tables.nnInterface with relevant vendors, engineering design/Product Management/Sales/Procurement team to determine and validate product classification.nnRespond and maintain classification data in the Oracle-GTM, and complete classifications assigned within the defined turnaround time.nnEnsure data integrity related to classification and value information declared to Customs authorities.nnResponsible for ensuring legal compliance within government rules and regulations pertaining to classificationnnAbility to research discrepancies and provide substantiation to support classification claims to Customs in a timely mannernnSupport implementation of approved internal trade projects related to classification and other import and export area, submit binding rulings when necessary and applicablennSupport denied party screening, Country of Origin and Free Trade Agreement related projects.nnShould be able to support on shifts if the business mandates that as a requirement.nnParticipate and Contribute to the development of Trade operations team by identifying opportunities for process automation and simplification.nnProvide support and details to the supervisor on the monthly KPI.nnResponsible for any other task that is assigned by the management from time to timennManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
