A growing Private Equity firm in Texas with a focus on opportunistic credit strategies is seeking an experienced legal professional to support the teams legal and compliance function. This position will involve advising on complex transactions, including the creation, negotiation, and structuring of finance and investment products, as well as managing legal and regulatory issues related to investment funds.

Legal Director Qualifications:

• JD, Accredited Law School
• 5+ years of legal experience realted to funds or structure finance
• Prepare, review, and negotiate agreements and related documents on corporate, investment management, and fund-related legal matters, including, repurchase agreements, securitizations, loan agreements and other general legal matters
• Work with outside legal counsel in providing these services
• Provide legal support to the firm in respect to other business activities
• Support on going complaince to ensure firm remains in compliance with SEC and other regulatory requirements
