I’m recruiting for an elite boutique firm in San Diego on an exclusive search to fill an unposted opening for a Wage & Hour Associate (defense side). Start date in January or February 2025.

The firm offers excellent work/life balance – standard billables are 1800, and they allow associates to work even fewer than 1800, if desired.

Highlights:

· Base salary range: $160,000 -- $180,000 DOE

· Hybrid/flexible schedule

· Merit- and hours-based bonus structure

· Billables: 1800 to be eligible for bonuses. Flexible, and can be reduced even lower.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-approved law school

· Attorney licensed to practice law in California

· 3+ years’ experience practicing employment litigation, specifically wage & hour, class action, and PAGA cases (defense side preferred)
