Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim Corporate Contracts Counsel or Analyst

Overview : Major, Lindsey & Africa is seeking a Commercial Contracts Attorney or Analyst with 5+ years of experience in Corporate Contracts for approximately six plus months to assist with sophisticated global contracts.

Company: A Global Law Firm is looking to add to their office of General Counsel

Experience: Looking for Candidates with strong writing, editing and negotiating experience, gained in a large global company or law firm.

Location: NYC Hybrid (3 Days Per Week in office) Preferred

Responsibilities Include:

• Looking for candidates with solid negotiations experience, responding to RFPs, General Commercial Contracts, client engagement contracts and more.
• Review Outside Counsel Guidelines.
• Centralize firm contracts on behalf of clients and internal General Counsel's office
• Other legal functions as requested.

Qualifications Include:

• A minimum of 5 years legal experience as in-house counsel or related law firm practice
• Extensive experience drafting and negotiating Engagement Letters and other Commercial Agreements.
• Positive and approachable demeanor and exceptional interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent ability to grasp legal and business issues quickly, balance risks, exercise sound judgment and provide creative, practical, constructive and timely counsel in a growing, dynamic, and fast-paced business environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
