Job Title: Applications Engineer

Location: Rolling Meadows, IL

Salary: $70,000-$90,000

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an Application Engineer to join our client's organization in the Skokie, IL area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide training and support for programming and simulation software.
• Advise on equipment application, quality control, safety procedures, and maintenance programs.
• Offer customer support for machinery and software via phone and internet.
• Develop and implement training programs and curricula.
• Assist with technical sales and meet with prospective clients to determine needs.
• Support start-up and commissioning of equipment and provide technical assistance during events.
• Troubleshoot issues with various components of manufacturing systems.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of design and programming software.
• Familiarity with mechanical manufacturing equipment and CNC technology.
• Experience with software design and development.
• Proficiency in coding languages and SQL databases.
• Ability to learn new technologies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
