LHH is partnering with an excellent company, part of the Blackstone portfolio, seeking an Associate General Counsel to join their established legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for attorneys looking to transition in-house with a focus on real estate finance and corporate transactions.

Location: DC/Northern Virginia

Role Highlights:

• Oversee real estate activities, including acquisitions/dispositions, leasing, zoning, land use, real estate finance, and development incentives.
• Negotiate and draft key legal agreements such as purchase/sale contracts, financing arrangements, leases, and economic development agreements.
• Conduct title review, manage insurance matters, and ensure zoning and land use compliance.
• Manage multiple deals concurrently, working closely with internal teams, outside counsel, and third parties.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in real estate finance or corporate finance.
• Borrower-side experience is a strong plus.
• CMBS experience is valuable; real estate finance exposure is preferred.
