What You Would Do
- Develop and edit written content or use in multiple marketing channels, including editorial content for use online and offline, succinct and persuasive content for client presentations, and short form content for social media, apps, email and other channels.
- Conceives and executes written content consistent with agreed upon strategy
- Responsible for clear, concise and convincing writing, including grammatical and material accuracy
- Establish and maintain positive, productive relationships
- Build relationship at appropriate client level
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of marketing/advertising strategy
- Willing to dig into marketing research and client provided materials to better understand both a client’s business and industry nuances
- Have the ability to provide insightful and creative interpretation of product research for clients
- Effectively present, clearly communicate and feel comfortable participating in client meetings
- Maintain a reasonable library of reference material relating to assigned clients.
- Contribute ideas to generate more client activity beyond normally scheduled projects
- Complete projects on time and on budget
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisor(s)
Who You Are
- 5-7 years experience in an agency or client in-house creative environment
- Strong written communication skills
- Demonstrates high level of professional craftsmanship and superior writing skills, while effectively handling multiple assignments
- Has a sound understanding of marketing/advertising and holistic, integrated conceptual thinking
- Must have the ability to contribute meaningful points of view and ideas to the team and clients
- Keeps abreast of marketing and cultural trends
- Must be able to communicate effectively, professionally and personably both internally and externally
- Projects a professional, positive attitude toward agency peers and clients
