Where you fit in

Our Content Experiences team is in need of a writer, but not just any writer, we need a jack-of-all trades who’s ready to dive deep into corporate tech events. You see, we handle it all: event marketing, onsite and online coordination, web design, communication strategy, content creation, demand generation, product strategy, community building, and more?and we need someone who can support us through all of it. You should be able to meet deliverables, work with clients, concept new ideas, try something without 100% certainty, and stay nimble through all the curveballs, wrenches, and last-min requests that get thrown at you. Yes, you will roll up your sleeves and craft excellent short and longform copy, but you also bring an eagerness to learn and a love for solving problems.

Microsoft or other large tech company copywriting experience preferred.

Candidates must be in Washington State, Oregon, or California to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Write copy for websites, emails, social (organic and paid), blogs, strategy documents, pitch decks, video, and more.
• Become an expert on our clients’ brand guidelines and be able to call out and articulate why something is off.
• Ability to edit and proofread your own work and client work.
• Learn and understand the needs of our clients.
• Brainstorm and offer solutions that meet our clients’ needs and internal initiatives.
• Stay flexible and be able to pivot and change with the needs of our clients.
• Present work and communicate with clients and key stakeholders.
• Track your schedule and deliver work through our internal process.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Expertise in creating both short-form and long-form copy for web, email, social media, blogs, and more.
• Ability to adapt to varying timelines, delivering high-quality work for both long-term projects and quick-turnaround requests.
• Proficiency in or ability to learn tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and project management software like Monday.
• Professional demeanor with the capability to present work confidently to clients.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2–3 years of professional copywriting experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of work across different formats and channels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
