Position Description: Performs radiographic exams for patients of all age groups.

Required Qualification: Associate's degree or completed hospital based program in Radiology required. Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology preferred. American Registry Radiologic Technologist ("ARRT") in CT license required. New York State Department of Health Diagnostic Radiographic Technologist License mandatory. Will consider a non-ARRT-CT candidate; however, candidate must take and pass ARRT CT exam within six (6) months of hire. Minimum three (3) years' experience specializing in Computed Tomography ("CT") Technology and cross-section anatomy.

Preferred Qualification: Five (5) years’ experience specializing in CT preferred.

Physical Demands: Heavy lifting and bending. Long periods of standing. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to see and read well. Ability to hear, listen and follow instructions. Sufficient mobility and dexterity of both arms or mechanical substitutes to operate a stretcher, move patients and other company equipment.

· Successfully complete pre-employment physical examination and obtain medical clearance from Stony Brook Southampton's Employee Health Services*

· Successfully complete a 4-panel drug screen*

· Meet Regulatory Requirements for pre-employment screenings.

· Provide a copy of any required New York State license(s)/certificate(s).

Failure to comply with any of the above requirements could result in a delayed start date and/or revocation of the employment offer.
