Senior Paralegal – Denver, CO

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and critical-thinking Senior Paralegal (Plaintiff) to join our Litigation team in Denver, CO. This fast-paced role supports a team of attorneys handling litigation in state and federal courts, requiring collaboration with other paralegals and assistants.

Location:

This is a fully on-site position in downtown Denver. Free, onsite parking.


Compensation:

  • Salary: $100,000-$120,000
  • Actual pay DOE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage cases from pre-litigation through post-trial motions
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and assist in obtaining necessary documents
  • Perform court filings, document management and review, discovery, and deposition scheduling
  • Track and manage deadlines
  • Handle electronic information, including bates-stamping, scanning, coding, and reviewing documents in complex litigation cases
  • Assist attorneys in developing case facts and strategies
  • Create privilege logs
  • Prepare trial exhibits and assist during hearings and trials


Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies (title will be Litigation Specialist if equivalent experience is met without the above education)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in complex litigation as a paralegal
  • Proven experience preparing cases for trial and supporting attorneys during trial
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents, pleadings, and client/opposing counsel correspondence under attorney guidance
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with E-Discovery tools and legal software such as Sharefile, and PACER
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
