Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and be licensed to practice in North Carolina. This position requires handling cases involving divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and other family-related legal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, and property division.
- Provide legal counsel and draft documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and orders.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and negotiations on behalf of clients.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on North Carolina family law developments.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, offering compassionate and effective legal guidance.
- Manage multiple cases with attention to deadlines and detail.
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
- Valid membership in the North Carolina State Bar.
- 2+ years of experience practicing family law preferred.
- Strong understanding of North Carolina family law statutes and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
