The Associate Director reports to a Director within a vertical team structure. He/she will have marketplace, interagency and client facing responsibilities.
Qualifications:- Undergraduate degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business, Sports Management and/or Communications
- Graduate or professional degree, or equivalent experience, recommended
- 5+ years of experience that provides aforementioned skills and abilities
- Strong ability to effectively communicate ideas in both a written and verbal setting
- Expert in industry knowledge and understanding of sports media vernacular and trends
- Experience with sports media across linear, digital and social media
- Ability to work well under pressure and deliver assignments under deadline
- Ability to effectively and intelligently communicate with media partners, clients, internal agency teams, and alternate OMG SBU's
- Ability, willingness, and flexibility to work beyond the normal hours of the traditional workday
- "Self-starter" traits are essential
- High level of proficiency in word, excel, power point and online research
- Efficiency, organization and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to perform and thrive in both a structured and unstructured environment
- Strong working knowledge and passion for global soccer landscape a plus
Responsibilities:- Develop broad understanding of sports media landscape across all access points
- Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate media and media sponsorship packages
- Proactive in identifying new opportunities and changes in media landscape
- Build relationships within media sales and broader sports marketing community
- Manage and develop support staff (at any point 1-5 personnel) and is involved with evaluation of existing staff and consideration of potential employees
- Support Director and management across a variety of needs
- Analyze, identify, and realize compelling insights and trends and apply those to buy executions
- Travels as required (often on weekends) for presentations, meetings and other client or industry events
- Core competencies include clear verbal and written communication, formulating strategic marketplace approach, and evaluating media proposals
- Produce relevant research from databases, industry trades and additional sources

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Compensation Range
$110,000-$135,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
