Our team is looking for a
Financial Pricing Analyst to join them. You will report to the
Director of Revenue Management and will have an
onsite work structure in
Chatsworth, CA.
To be considered for the Financial Pricing Analyst opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you: - Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 1+ years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role, preferably in pricing strategy or related areas.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an eagerness to learn and develop financial analysis skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools is required.
- Strong experience in financial modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar software) is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of financial concepts, pricing methodologies, and cost analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with market research techniques and data sources to extract relevant insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand market dynamics and customer behavior.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
As a Financial Pricing Analyst, you will: - Analyze Market Trends: Conduct thorough research and analysis of market dynamics, including competitor pricing strategies, customer behavior, and industry trends to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.
- Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate pricing scenarios, profitability, and return on investment (ROI) for different pricing strategies and product lines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to develop and refine pricing strategies that align with business objectives and market demand.
- Utilize data-driven insights to analyze and optimize pricing structures, including price points and discounts.
- Conduct cost analysis to assess the impact of production costs, raw material prices, and operational expenses on pricing decisions.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to track pricing performance, monitor pricing changes, and measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies.
- Assist in the development of financial forecasts and budgeting processes by providing accurate pricing data and insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to provide financial expertise and recommendations on pricing-related decisions, including new product transitions, pricing changes, and market economics.
- Monitor competitor pricing strategies and conduct regular benchmarking to identify opportunities and threats in the market.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate pricing strategies, performance, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Perform other general Revenue Management and Ontic data activities, as needed.
