We currently have an opportunity for a
Talent Acquisition Director to join our
global HR team reporting to our
UK based CHRO. In this role you'll have responsibility for
Talent Acquisition teams based across two hubs in the UK and US. Maintaining strong effective stakeholder relationships will be key to the success of the role so 3-4 days of onsite present is required at our site in
Creedmoor, NC. You will also be required to visit other Ontic locations domestic and international and should expect to travel for up to 15-20% of your time.
To be considered for the Talent Acquisition Director opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you: - Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred
- Demonstrable experience in talent acquisition and/or talent management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role developing fit-for purpose strategies across talent acquisition and building effective succession plans
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software, ideally Workday
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, industry trends, and best practices
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
As a Talent Acquisition Director, you will: - Partner with C-suite, senior leadership and functional experts to understand the future needs of the business
- Create and align the talent management strategy with the organizational and business vision and strategy, developing appropriate policies and procedures aligned to the Company goals and values
- Establish and execute a marketing strategy to acquire and promote talent
- Identify anticipated future resource constraints, developing strategies to mitigate, working with Learning and Development to develop skills and capabilities
- Develop global workforce plans that articulate current and future talent and skill requirements
- Articulate and present management information to provide insights on performance - current and forecast
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert, ensuring efficiency and compliance with external standards
- Collaborate with the Learning & Development Director and engage with local HR Directors as key stakeholders to own the end to end talent management lifecycle with individual accountability for Strategic Workforce Planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, succession planning and management and offboarding and retention
- Lead a global team of talent acquisition managers and professionals ensuring high performance, collaboration, innovation and a positive team focused working culture
- Utilize technology, including Workday, in combination with data and analytics to drive enhancements in efficiency and effectiveness throughout both the talent acquisition and succession processes continuously enhancing our automation capability
- Partner with Marketing and Internal Communications to develop and promote the company's employer brand, driving inclusion initiatives, using social media, job boards and other channels to attract top talent and enhance our visibility and reputation as an employer of choice
- Partner with local HRDs to develop site-specific Early Careers solutions, tailored to each location, supporting skills development for Apprentices, Interns, Co-ops and Graduates. Establish and maintain relationships with educational institutions allowing them to become ambassadors for Ontic
