What you will do

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Product Owner to focus on Third-Party Risk Management Solutions for our large Banking and Financial clients. In this pivotal role, you will define and execute product strategies that address regulatory, operational, and business risks, drive innovation, and empower financial institutions to achieve compliance excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and a passion for building lasting client relationships. You will focus on maintaining and growing relationships with large customers, managing implementations, and delivering high-impact service offerings. You will also play a pivotal role in supporting GEP's full range of product and service offerings. This includes leading cross-functional teams, mentoring staff, and managing complex projects that deliver value to some of the world's largest banking and financial institutions. Your strong technology background will enable you to drive client success, foster collaboration, and ensure the delivery of innovative Third-Party Risk Management solutions.

Client-Centric Product Development

• Collaborate closely with banking and financial clients to understand their third-party risk management challenges and translate these insights into impactful solutions.
• Conduct workshops and discovery sessions to align product features with client needs.

Strategic Roadmapping & Innovation

• Develop comprehensive product roadmaps balancing immediate priorities with long-term vision.
• Prioritize features that address regulatory compliance, operational risks, and emerging market demands.

AI Integration & Innovation

• Incorporate AI and machine learning capabilities into third-party risk management applications, focusing on predictive analytics, automation, and advanced reporting.
• Explore cutting-edge technologies to keep GEP's solutions ahead of industry trends.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Foster a collaborative, innovative culture that values client success and drives measurable results.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning

• Conduct market research to identify trends, regulatory changes, and opportunities for innovation.
• Publish market intelligence reports to inform strategic decision-making and maintain thought leadership.

Business Growth & Sales Collaboration

• Partner with the sales team to articulate product value propositions, support client acquisition, and identify new market opportunities.
• Drive adoption and expansion of GEP's third-party risk management solutions across existing accounts and new segments.

Compliance Excellence

• Ensure all solutions meet or exceed industry regulations and standards, such as ISO 31000 and Basel III, achieving exceptional compliance performance.

What you should bring

• Experience: 7+ years as a Product Owner or in a related product management role, with a focus on risk management, financial services, or enterprise applications.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AI, machine learning, and risk management tools. Familiarity with ISO 31000, Basel III, and other compliance standards.
• Client Engagement: Expertise in collaborating with enterprise clients to solve complex challenges.
• Market Awareness: Demonstrated ability to analyze trends and develop forward-looking strategies.
• Communication: Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
