What you will do

As a Consulting Manager at GEP, you will lead transformational procurement programs for facilities services, shaping strategies that drive exceptional outcomes for our clients. You will leverage your expertise in sourcing and supplier management within the facilities services domain to deliver tangible, measurable results. This role empowers you to foster innovation, lead high-impact initiatives, and inspire a collaborative, high-performance culture.

What you will do:
  • Client Engagement Leadership:
    • Lead client engagements in facilities services procurement, including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and procurement transformation.
    • Set and execute strategies aligned with client objectives to achieve measurable outcomes (e.g., cost savings, improved SLAs, process transformations).
    • Collaborate with clients to assess procurement maturity and implement best practices tailored to their needs.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Leverage diverse data sources to perform complex analyses and provide fact-based, actionable recommendations.
    • Provide thought leadership on facilities-specific categories, such as maintenance, janitorial, security, and energy management.
  • Communication and Presentation:
    • Deliver impactful presentations and communicate confidently with clients, including senior executives.
    • Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills and foster a positive team culture.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify opportunities for growth within existing engagements and support program expansion by leveraging relationships with C-suite executives.


What you should bring

  • Experience & Expertise:
    • Minimum 5+ years in management consulting or a blend of consultancy and procurement industry experience.
    • Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, spend analysis, supplier management, and category management within facilities services (e.g., building maintenance, HVAC, landscaping).
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree from a top-tier institution is a strong plus.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Demonstrated leadership, with the ability to autonomously deliver impactful results.
    • Exceptional client management, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in procurement areas such as transformation, digitalization, supplier development, risk management, category management, and RFx execution.
    • Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills; familiarity with business improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, TQM) and procurement software is a plus.
  • Flexibility:
    • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
