What you will do

As a Consulting Manager at GEP, you will lead transformational programs, set strategic directions, and align resources to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. With a passion for critical thinking, sourcing, and supplier management, you will be at the forefront of driving tangible results while fostering a collaborative team culture and coaching others.

This role places you at the heart of GEP's Global Delivery Consulting Group, where you will not only build lasting relationships with clients but also contribute to GEP's ongoing success across diverse industries.

What you will do:
  • Client Engagement Leadership:
    • Lead client engagements, driving initiatives in strategic sourcing, spend analysis, supplier relationship management, and procurement transformation.
    • Set and execute strategies aligned with client objectives to achieve measurable outcomes (e.g., cost savings, improved SLAs, process transformations).
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Leverage diverse data sources to perform complex analyses and provide fact-based, actionable recommendations.
  • Communication and Presentation:
    • Deliver impactful presentations and communicate confidently with clients, including senior executives.
    • Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills and foster a positive team culture.
  • Business Development:
    • Identify opportunities for growth within existing engagements and support program expansion by leveraging relationships with C-suite executives.


What you should bring

  • Experience & Expertise:
    • Minimum 5+ years in management consulting or a blend of consultancy and procurement industry experience.
    • Proficiency in strategic sourcing, spend analysis, supplier relationship management, and Source-to-Pay/Procure-to-Pay processes.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree from a top-tier institution is a strong plus.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Demonstrated leadership, with the ability to autonomously deliver impactful results.
    • Exceptional client management, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in procurement areas such as transformation, digitalization, supplier development, risk management, category management, and RFx execution.
    • Experience with categories like Marketing, IT, Professional Services, Facilities, Capital, HR, and MRO is highly desirable.
    • Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills; familiarity with business improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, TQM) and procurement software is a plus.
  • Flexibility:
    • Willingness to travel weekly to client sites as required.
