Your Role: Working closely with the executive team, you'll design and execute strategic marketing plans to attract and engage clients. With responsibility for campaign oversight, team management, and KPI tracking, you'll ensure our marketing impacts growth meaningfully. Responsibilities
  • You will work with the firm's executive leadership team to establish a strategic marketing plan and budget to meet the firm's defined business plan goals.
  • You will closely monitor the results against objective KPIs and provide weekly updates to the Executive Team.
  • You will lead and grow your marketing team to help in the execution of the strategic marketing plan.
  • You will be responsible for managing the marketing resources including but not limited to managing vendors, staff, projects, and assignments; setting clear deadlines and end results.
  • You will be doing quality audits of our vendor's work to ensure the success of campaigns. We must be getting the highest level of results possible.
  • You will partner with the Sales Team and the Director of Client Relations to help ensure their success.
  • You must have an appreciation of the sales team and a commitment to establish an effective relationship.
  • Management and oversight of various marketing media and campaigns such as social media, written content, audio/video content, direct mail and direct response marketing, product and program launches, workshops, seminars, and webinars.
  • Manage resources: internal and external content creators, videographers, video editors, podcast managers, and other individuals who assist with creating and distributing audio and video content that is effective and consistent with our values.
  • Manage the creation of specific goals and manage the tracking and reporting of revenue and new clients.
  • Create specific goals and manage the tracking and reporting of the data with daily and weekly targets; create a plan to pivot quickly when necessary.
  • Always have a plan B in case something does not work as it was initially intended.
  • Be a humble yet inspirational leader of the team that creates the best from each person.
Qualifications

Skills/Characteristics. Are you a good fit?

  • A proven track record of successfully growing B2C professional service firms with quantifiable results using direct response techniques, with a demonstrable understanding of all aspects of direct response marketing
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication and people management skills
  • Competence as a creative writer with an eye for great emails, video content, and landing pages that create direct response action
  • Must be self-motivated and self-directed to achieve the firm's goals which will lead to reaching his or her professional goals
  • Self-starter who thrives on immersion in a rapidly changing environment and demonstrates excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, adhere to deadlines and has a strong sense of urgency to create positive results
  • Skilled at working against a budget and knowing how to effectively and accurately create one.
  • Strong ability to create systems for tracking marketing metrics and using those metrics to make marketing recommendations/decisions
  • Demonstrate creative problem-solving that allows the firm to continue to grow
  • You must love technology and embrace what it allows us to accomplish. Excellent knowledge of basic office programs (particularly Excel/Google Sheets), marketing computer software, and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords, etc)


Education and Experience:
  • B.A. degree with a major in business, marketing, advertising, or communications preferred, but overall, a strong track record as a Marketing Director is essential
  • Experience with Windows, Office 365, Google Workspace, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Experience with Keap/Infusionsoft, Zoho, or similar CRM and autoresponder software

Compensation:
  • The compensation package for this position will consist of a base salary plus a performance-based bonus, with total compensation having the potential to exceed $120,000. Our firm also offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, short and long-term disability, life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and a retirement match up to 3% after 90 days. The total compensation and benefits package will be discussed in greater detail during the interview and onboarding process.

Compensation

We are offering a total compensation package of $80,000 - $120,000+. Base salary based on experience plus incentive-compensation based on accomplishing your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Measures of Success can increase total earnings for an experienced candidate.

Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance coverage, short-term and long-term disability coverage, as well as matching contributions to your tax-deferred retirement savings.

We also believe in work-life balance, with flexible paid time off accrued from Day One and 12 paid holidays annually.

This is a hybrid remote/in-office position.
