TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER Department: Operations
Reports to: Vice President, Global Operations
Location: Houston, TX
WWT International is looking for a resourceful and customer-focused Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. This role involves a deep understanding of coiled tubing operations and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders. We're looking for someone with sales experience and an engineering background who is great at spotting opportunities for growth and development.
Basic Function:- Increase market share across all WWT coiled tubing product lines in the North American market.
- Develop key company accounts, working with customers to provide and implement solutions.
- Responsible for coordinating customer requirements and interfacing with operations, engineering, and contractors.
- Match market needs with engineering expertise to aid in new product or service development.
- Data analysis and presentation.
- Support existing product lines and ongoing R&D projects.
- Solid model design, prototyping, shop and field testing, and product improvement.
Responsibilities:- Develop project plans, provide direction, and coordinate project activities associated with Field Operations.
- Develop and maintain account relationships with the technical client base. Support and work with clients and internal work groups (i.e. Sales, Engineering & Operations).
- Provide job design, technical support, and post-job analysis as needed.
- Prepare reports/presentations, investigate field failures, and define product improvements.
- Contribute to manufacturing process improvement.
- Effective and efficient communication between inter-company departments, customers, and vendors
- Assist in maintaining and or writing QA/QC procedures.
Must-Know: Mechanical design, CAD - Solid Modeling, Hydraulic fundamentals, MATLAB or Python
Proficient In: Solid modeling, tool design and operation, engineering drawing, wiring diagrams, simple circuits, data acquisition

Education/Training:BS in Engineering with mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to work with hands. Experience or degree in mechanical and electronic design, data visualization, data engineering, or quantitative analysis.
Experience:7 years of coiled tubing or thru-tubing experience in product and business development.
A proven track record of delivering new products to the market and increasing the market share of existing product lines.
Must have a valid passport.
