Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and bilingual (English/Spanish) Human Resources Generalist with a minimum of 5 years of professional HR experience, ideally in the automotive industry. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and training and development. This position plays a vital role in fostering a positive work environment and supporting the organization’s strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a seamless transition for new employees.


Employee Relations:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Compliance and Policies:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.


Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Provide guidance to employees on benefit options and enrollment.
  • Training and Development:
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
  • Support leadership development initiatives and succession planning efforts.
  • Performance Management:
  • Assist in the implementation of performance appraisal systems and employee development plans.
  • Provide coaching to managers on performance-related matters.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on key metrics, such as turnover and employee satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
