Accounts Payable SpecialistnnJob DescriptionnnWe are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to efficiently handle financial transactions, maintain vendor files, and ensure accurate processing of rent, utility bills, and insurance policies. This role involves a variety of accounting tasks, including posting transactions, maintaining records, processing payments, and preparing financial reports.nnJob DescriptionnnPost transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records.nnProcess and monitor credit card and bank transactions.nnMaintain vendor files, verify federal ID numbers, and manage 1099s.nnResearch and update Sales & Use tax rates and file returns.nnProcess rent and utility bills.nnMaintain company insurance policies.nnReview, verify, and code expense reports.nnReview and verify invoices and check requests.nnEnter and upload invoices into the system.nnPrepare and process electronic transfers, payments, and perform check runs.nnCorrespond with vendors and respond to inquiries.nnReconcile vendor statements and correct discrepancies.nnProduce monthly financial reports and records.nnAssist with month-end closing.nnProvide supporting documentation for audits.nnSkills and Qualifications Requirednn3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.nn2 years of clerical, administrative, or record-keeping/bookkeeping experience.nnProficiency in applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems.nnThorough knowledge of financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures.nnStrong organizational and time management skills.nnPay and BenefitsnnThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00nnEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
