The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring vendor invoices and expense reports are accurate and processed on time. This role also includes providing financial support for the monthly close and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.nnResponsibilitiesnnReceive and verify expense reports; reconcile expense and other financial reports with account balances and office records.nnFacilitate payment of vendors, including verification of federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.nnEnsure outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identify discount opportunities, and issue purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.nnAssist with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.nnRecord entry of, verify documentation for, and distribute petty cash.nnCalculate and report sales tax based on paid invoices.nnReview vendor invoices for accuracy, verify and allocate the correct cost center, sales tax, and other financial considerations.nnMatch all production invoices with receiving documents.nnCoordinate with inventory control and vendors to resolve differences.nnMonitor the approval process: check, follow-up, and problem-solving for non-approved invoices.nnSupport the weekly payment run and follow up on payments with vendors to resolve discrepancies.nnCheck and resolve open purchase orders.nnReview all non-purchase order items and obtain department manager approvals to ensure proper authorization.nnEssential Skillsnn2 to 3 years of Accounts Payable experience.nnExperience with MS-Office applications.nnExperience with ERP systems, particularly AX and Concur.nnExcellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.nnAbility to work independently and under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and be flexible where needed.nnHands-on mentality, with a drive for getting things done.nnTeam player with strong administrative efficiency and a drive for accuracy.nnQuality focus, committed to achieving high-quality standards.nnAdditional Skills & QualificationsnnAbility to work independently and under pressure.nnExcellent communication skills.nnTeam player mentality.nnStrong administrative skills.nnWork EnvironmentnnThis role involves working in an office environment with standard office equipment.
