Job Title: Accounts Payable ClerkJob DescriptionnnWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scanning invoices to a PDF and entering the raw data into Accounting Edge Software. The AP clerk position is a fast-paced, high-volume role that could involve handling up to 500 invoices a week. This position will also serve as the backup to the receptionist.nnResponsibilitiesnnKey information from invoices utilizing Trueline (AS/400) and Edge software.nnBalance invoices with Purchase Orders.nnEstablish new relationships with vendors and review vendor statements.nnTroubleshoot with vendors as needed.nnProvide phone coverage to the Receptionist for breaks, lunches, and time off, as needed.nnDuring receptionist coverage, complete all receptionist tasks satisfactorily, including answering phones, greeting and checking in visitors to the building, and handling all incoming and outgoing mail and packages.nnEssential SkillsnnAccounts payablennInvoice processingnnAccountingnnInvoicingnnData entrynnMicrosoft OfficennReconciliationnnSAPnnMicrosoft ExcelnnPurchase ordernnInvoice reconciliationnnAdditional Skills & QualificationsnnMinimum 2-4 years of recent administrative support experience.nnAccounts Payable experience is a plus, but not required.nnAbility to manage high volumes of invoices in an organized, efficient manner.nnKnowledge/experience within a mechanical contracting firm is a plus, but not required.nnStrong communication and interpersonal skills.nnAbility to interact with all levels of the organization with a positive, engaging, proactive, and team-based style.nnWorking knowledge of Local, State, and Federal regulations and guidelines.nnAbility to work independently, sometimes with minimal supervision.nnValid Driver's License.nnExcellent proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.nnExperience with Accounting Software is a plus, but not required.nnDemonstrate integrity, honesty, professionalism, and commitment to company values.nnSelf-motivated and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.nnWork EnvironmentnnThe work environment is fast-paced and high-volume, requiring the ability to handle up to 500 invoices per week. The position requires proficiency with various software applications, including Microsoft Office and Accounting Edge Software.
