Job Title: Graphic Designer – Packaging and Labeling

Location: On-site in Boulder, CO

Job Type: Full-time contract role, high potential for conversion and extension

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with expertise in desktop publishing, production, and packaging design. This role is responsible for creating and managing artwork for instruction documents, packaging, and product labeling to support manufacturing requirements. The ideal candidate will ensure all artwork complies with company design standards and meets customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce artwork for instruction for use (IFU) documents , packaging, and product labeling.
• Manage the creation of labels, lidstock, and display box artwork, ensuring compliance with formal approval processes and company procedures.
• Verify vendor proofs, make corrections, and communicate changes to ensure all printed components align with approved artwork files.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, engineering, and manufacturing) to address issues and meet artwork development requirements.
• Maintain a high level of organization to effectively handle multiple projects, adjust to changing scopes, and meet tight deadlines.
• Ensure adherence to standardized artwork development procedures and company design standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong expertise in desktop publishing and production-focused design.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat) and Mac Operating Systems .
• Meticulous attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of label printing applications and related processes.
• Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively with peers and management across departments.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year college degree required).

Experience:

• Significant prior experience in graphic design, desktop publishing, and production.
• Experience in regulated labeling (medical device or food packaging) is highly preferred.
