Overview:
The Estimator provides cost-estimating support to ensure effective project decision-making, focusing on cost, schedule, and risk mitigation for successful delivery. This is a 3-year contract role that will begin in Spring 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates based on project scope.
- Conduct earned value analysis and align costs with project schedules.
- Perform field visits to validate estimates.
- Support cost analysis by identifying and explaining variances.
- Update estimates as projects progress.
- Develop and maintain estimating templates and best practices.
- Participate in post-mortem reviews to improve future estimates.

Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering OR Engineering Technologist diploma.
- 5+ years’ experience in cost estimating for capital construction projects.
- Proficiency with estimating tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Key Skills:
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
- Leadership: Skilled in coaching, conflict resolution, and team collaboration.
